| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this article is, starting from the conceptual approach of the systemic nature of social protection in case of unemployment and based on an analysis of the views on social assistance, to present its role as one of the subsystems of decisive importance for overcoming the negative socio-economic impacts of unemployment as a socio-economic phenomenon. Analyzing the essence and main characteristics of social assistance by using documentary methods, its nature as a system supplementing the impact of unemployment benefits granted by social security and in direct connection with the effect of active policy measures on the labor market is substantiated. Based on a study of views on social assistance and the most important challenges to social protection in case of unemployment, the role of social assistance is argued as one of the possible forms of the system aimed at limiting the effect of job loss on various aspects of the life of the people. | |
