The article examines the balance between the right to privacy and national security in the digital era. It analyzes constitutional and international legal standards for the protection of privacy, as well as the case law of the Constitutional Court, the European Court of Human Rights, and the Court of Justice of the European Union. Attention is given to the challenges of cybersecurity, mass data collection, and the need for proportionate measures. In conclusion, the importance of preventive solutions and cooperation between the state and the private sector is emphasized in order to achieve a sustainable balance between security and fundamental rights.
