dc.description.abstractThis article presents opportunities for integrating stop motion animation videos as an educational tool, along with methodological guidelines for teachers incorporating this technology into their practice. The educational resource is suitable for implementation both in higher education – for preparing students from various specialties, and in primary or secondary education – when linked to scientific material across different subjects. The main accent is on the organisation of controlled filming of stop-motion educational video and evaluating the efficiency of this resource for educating future specialists in pedagogy. The opinion of 54 second – year students of Primary school pedagogy and a foreign language at Plovdiv university 'Paisii Hilendarski' determined the main advantages of this tool: cultivation of creative thinking and teamwork skills (communication, problem-solving) as well as improvement of the technical skills of the participants, some disadvantages were mentioned: long time needed for preparation and filming, and difficulties while working with specific software.
