Abstract
The current paper examines human language through the lens of two interdisciplinary science fields: linguoculturology and neurolinguistics. Firstly, we looked into the various ways the language is embedded in the culture, traditions, and beliefs of different people – Japanese, Indians, Native Americans, and Bulgarians – who view language as a tool for creating reality, and as possessing, the power to transform the world. On the other hand, the nature and influence of language were also examined within the field of neuroscience. Through examples from numerous experiments and studies, it became evident that speaking and hearing certain words can affect the structure of the human brain, as well as influence behavior, emotions, and the overall quality of human life.
