Abstract
Monitoring workplace discipline through surveillance cameras is no longer an isolated phenomenon. In this regard, the Commission for Personal Data Protection has issued guidelines on the admissibility of video surveillance in the workplace. An analysis of case law shows that, in the past two years alone, a number of labour disputes have relied on video recordings to establish relevant facts. The purpose of this article is to examine how video recordings can be used as evidence in labour disputes, including for establishing violations of workplace discipline.
